Applicants with Japanese citizenship, including multiple citizenship, are not eligible to apply as an international student, regardless of their country of residency. If you have Japanese citizenship, you must submit your application through Domestic Admissions or renounce your Japanese citizenship at the time of application as an international student. If one or both of your parents have Japanese citizenship but you are unsure if you yourself have Japanese citizenship, please check with your local Japanese embassy for confirmation.
